Starters not playing in franchise mode

My starters are not playing in franchise mode. My depth chart is correct, but when it comes to in-game play, all of my bench guys come in and my starters don’t re-enter the game. I’m 16 games into the season and haven’t had an issue until now. I’ve checked all the fatigue sliders, blah blah blah, and all of my settings are the same since I started the season, so nothing has changed. I’m playing on the Xbox Series X. What gives??

This is absolute garbage. Tyreek Hill isn’t going to play in the divisional round of the playoffs because he played too many games? Give me a break EA.

  • I have a franchise mode going with the Bucs in year 1. I traded for Isiah Likely and now he is out afteev2 plays along with Rachaad White and Chris Godwin. I did turn off progressive fatigue which helped off one week but now a week later it’s back to taking starters out by the second quarter. Any help or suggestions on fixing this issue ?

  • Not sure if there was an answer to this, but I had the same issue. One of the fixes is obviously Progressive Fatigue, but it doesn't end there. One of my problems was the Superstar ability. There's always and positive and a negative which each ability. One of the "Negatives" is less snaps. The other issue which was probably the main one is the scheme. Check out the Subs menu and make sure your player is actually playing. I had Parsons listed as a DT (because why not) and the lineup nor the depth chart worked as he would only play on 1 single play in the playbook. After changing the lineup within the Subs menu now he plays every snap. Hope this helps.
