Stuck on one Passing style

When I play head to head with my friends I’ve played with classic passing style and I didn’t like it so I tried to change it to placement and accuracy and when I did. It still was on classic, but when I play head to head by myself it will change to the passing style I want, but when I play with my friends it resets to classic and I’ve been having this problem for months and I would really appreciate it if someone helps.
