Greetings from germany
Just got into the office and we'll try to track down as much info on this as possible so we can lateral it back to you all.
So far we've seen a couple players fix this by either reinstalling the game or attempting the step above. Please continue to post DxDiag's if you're being affected and any workaround solutions for this while it's being investigated. 👍

Here's mine
- 6 years ago@EA_Blueberry thank you. I know you guys are working on it.
I hope you´ll find and fix the issue soon, so we can enjoy the game.
Sidenote: it is funny that you didnt had the problems in beta testing. The Intel-NVIDIA Setting is a common setting. The mistake must therefore sit a few levels lower. - joebob196 years agoNew Traveler
@EA_Blueberry Thanks for all the help so far. Please try and get back to us asap we really would like to be able to play.

Fixed for me!! Thank you very much.

Another thing I'll say is that, like others mentioned, the high CPU usage causes the rest of my computer to be very very laggy. I have my FPS uncapped (which makes the game run smoother but not perfect vs 60 fps), but when I alt tab out, I essentially can't do much else with any other app on my PC. My mouse is delayed, typing in text is delayed, and it almost feels like the CPU resources are all being bottlenecked into Madden.
This isn't an issue when my game is capped at 60 fps, but, my game then becomes unplayable.

Mine stutters a lot and unplayable right now. CPU is i5-7600.

I've tried everything here and none of it fixes the stuttering. It's weird because it doesn't stutter while in the huddle but as soon as you try to actually play its really bad.

The game is causing my whole PC to freeze and I have to use the button on the case to turn it off.
I've also tried each and every step here and no success.
PC Specs-
- i5-4690K
- 16GB DDR3
- EVGA GTX 1660ti
- OS on m.2, all games on SSDs
Ive included my DxDiag

Mine is still stuttering / freezing trying everything above. I5 4690k and 1080TI
- joebob196 years agoNew Traveler@EA_Blueberry We really need some sort of answer at least let us know they are working on it or something.

I think they gave up and moved on ☹️

checking in, I have an i5-4690k oc'd to 4.4 ghz, and Madden 20 is consistently using 85-90% CPU. My sound is choppy, and the game is barely playable. I've tried realtime, but that causes every other process on my PC to run poorly, so it is not a fix.

@EA_BlueberryHas there been any progress made fixing this issue or tracking down the root cause?

Just adding myself to the list of people having the same problem. Setting the Madden process to real-time and in my case most graphic settings to low + using DX11 seems to help, but there's clearly something wrong here. I have an i7 9700k + GTX 1080 Ti + 32GB of RAM. Needless to say this is literally the only game I've had any problems with stuttering or lagging.

Do you find the rest of your computer sluggish? Netflix won't even load for me. Browsing reddit/internet is excruciating slow.

The team is indeed looking into this and progress is being made. Will come back with more info as soon as possible, thanks for hanging in there!

Thanks for the update @EA_Blueberry. I don't know if it is still helpful to send in a DxDiag, but I attached mine.
