Someone suggested lowering crowd volume to 30 (which of course kills the atmosphere) but it seems to have an effect on the stuttering. I also think crowd volume is linked to sound efx because once I lowered crowd volume I heard less sound efx like tackling, etc. That probably shouldn't be the case. I didn't get a chance to further test theory because my trial period is about to run out. I think crowd/sound efx integration might be the culprit.

You didn't notice any reduction in stuttering Mr V?
Just tried the game again and things seem much improved. The announcers still stutter in their speech a lot, but it otherwise seems to play relatively smooth. Only an audio anomaly now. CPU and GPU utilization are high (90+), but I was able to maintain smooth play at over 100fps @ 1440p for the duration.
