I used these settings from a Youtube user from madden 19 and it fixed all my audio and video issues.
At this point, I think it's pretty safe to say the issues being experienced by everyone in this thread are a result of problems with the game and require a fix from the dev team. I've been away from madden for about 6 or 7 years now, having felt when I left that the product was often buggy and hadn't improved much over the past few years. I came back now and some things never change. All that said, @hdhayley these fixes were the only thing that helped. It's still not great, still plenty of lag, but at least playable. Of course, the quality and detail aren't great. But all the other suggestions mentioned didn't help, these did. Thanks.
@dlevas glad you got some improvement in your gameplay! I’m working on tweaking the settings to make gameplay smoother. I appreciate the shout out and I will let you know if I find a better way to run things smoother. If anyone finds better settings to help us all please let us know. It’s frustrating to play a game that has issues. Yet, if we work together we can find solutions to improve our experience.
Well there goes my chance of making top 100 in solo battles this week. Just lagged and froze up with 3 minutes left. Better luck next week I guess. Hopefully someone can find a better fix than setting the priority to real time.
