If you would like to share and/or discuss your ideas about features, gameplay or addons etc. or how to improve the game, please have a look at the Madden Suggestions Index if other players already made similar suggestions. The higher the number of players either giving XP to the suggestions made or click the "me too" button, the higher the likelihood that the dev team will consider and prioritize the suggestion. If you would like to make a (new) suggestion yourself, I'd propose to add the term "[Suggestion]" at the beginning of the thread title. Furthermore, the more self-explanatory the title, the more likely it is that other players will find your proposal and support it. I'd strongly recommend to focus on one specific suggestion in your threads. The Madden team has to prioritize what suggestions are picked up and implemented. The more focused your suggestions, the more likely other players will support it (either by clicking the "me too" and/or the "XP" buttons). If you would like to share more ideas, please post them in different threads to allow a more homogeneous discussion within the respective thread if other players would like to support or discuss your idea. Fix deep third, halves, and quarter zone assignments. Right now, DB’s get “dumbed” out, and just stand there and let a receiver run right past them. Make QB contains actually contain the QB. Defensive ends in a contain assignment still take poor rush angles, mostly inside, towards the QB. Dashing, roaming, and inside deadeyes needs a throwing distance and ball velocity threshold according to the QB’s handiness. It is IMPOSSIBLE for a right handed QB who rolls right, to make an accurate throw forty yards across his body, and twenty yards down field. (Or more) CPU AI needs to be completely overhauled, especially with the recent user nerf. No one should be able to make hot routes that abuse the AI, and run the same play over and over. Moving forward, when you upgrade the game engine, please move to a physics based engine. The animations really ruin game play. I really believe if you were to do a community poll about animations, the results would be overwhelmingly in favor of a physics based engine. Remove abilities in future installments, or make them available in an arcade based game mode, because at the end of the day, this is what abilities are. In franchise mode, bring back the drills that were in past installments to allow us to develop our team. OTA’s and training camp is part of the NFL. For presentation, why isn’t Fox, NBC, CBS, ABC, and ESPN in the game? This would be pretty awesome if it were. This is just to name a few things. I have other ideas, but quite frankly, I’m tired of typing. Please post your ideas and thoughts.

This might be a long post, idk. Strap in.Madden has taken steps to fix franchise mode. I’ll give them that. But, there are so many basic things that literally every other sports game offers that isn’t anywhere on madden. I’ll start small. -better create a player options: look at MLB the Show create a player system. It can be done, with effort. Draft classes would become phenomenal to use. -Player DNA: there is no way to save a player DNA. If you create a player, there should be a way to store it. Mainly for the next reason.. -Add a player in franchise: it happens every year. Multiple players who start, become fan favorites, or key backups get added to the game and don’t make the first roster cut. That’s fine. The issue is, for any franchise fan, that to get those guys, you have to restart completely. There is no way to add that guy in. It’s insane.- coaching staff options. It’s small, because it’s been improving. But real life coordinators are a must. NBA 2K has 17 spots now. We could at least get 4. (Head, OC, DC, Special Teams).- Sandbox relocation option. Sandbox rebranding option. Just look at what 2k can do, it’s so robust and deep. -accurate roster updates, and fast. It’s frustrating that the roster update comes out a couple hours before the Thursday night game. which leads into the next one…-make sharing rosters easier to load in franchise, and more stable in general. The roster sharing community in other games is huge. In madden, it’s like a minefield. Impossible to work with at times. - Better scouting. We will see what the September update brings. Hopefully it’s promising and this can removed from the list-dynamic fans in stadiums. Team bad? Fans leave. Close game? Fans louder more full. Could expand to bad teams have low attendance, good teams sell out. Now more medium sized complaints:-A start today feature: Madden can’t get that feature for online (only) out until an hour or so before the Thursday night kickoff. And there is only 17 weeks. NBA has 82 games and it’s at the most a day late. It’s rough. -rookie camp option. Those skill games from the past were awesome. Bring those back. -the ability to creat depth charts and subs and put guys anywhere: i don’t need an RB to have to be my WR. If I want 5 WRs, i should be able to put them in there. (This is hit or miss, but it seems like it’s been an issue a lot. Some plays have the option, but not others). - better subs. At least an easier way to sub at a skill position. It takes to long. -option to change rules. don’t need all rules, but for sure OT rules. Salary cap rules. Trade rules. Let it be an sandbox. -contract restructuring: its a huge part of the real life management of teams, it should be here too. -the ability to chose the pro bowl players: this should be easy. Just have a roster set based on stats like normal, but then the option to go through and change it if you want. -league realignment: let us switch up conferences and divisions.-postpone retirement for players. -in depth preseason: Positional battles. Correct subs for preseason games (no starters playing all the time). Now, the major ones. - Edit Injuries option in franchise, and on normal rosters: This is insane that it’s not possible. You don’t even have to edit what the injury is. Just the ability to remove, or edit the length of time injured. There is no reason a player scheduled to return this year should be out 43 weeks. It’s asinine that the user has no control over this. The ability to edit injuries adds so much to follow real life games. -select all 32 teams or multiple teams at once: I shouldn’t have to go create a new character 32 times. It takes forever. Should be easy to select all teams or the ones you want, then go in and edit things like coach and owner after having control. Also, this feature should be included in a Start Today mode as well, where you can pick up multiple teams with real life stats. Unfortunately, the only option is online, and you can’t select multiple teams there. -a functional IR. Where you can activate and deactivate from like in real life. - Un-drafted Free agents: the lack of this is tough. Should be an option to immediately after the draft add players to your pre season roster. -compensatory picks: this would be tricky without knowing the real formula, but you could make it up. Something simple, like picks based on overall level leaving vs those you signed. -edit superstar traits: more depth. More options. Should be locked into specific archetypes. -contract structuring system. Nothing too crazy, but the ability to make it even, front load, or back load would immerse the multiple season team building aspect of the game. -coaching carousel: EA would sort of be on the front end of this, though it would be bringing it back from the past. It’s already been done. By EA. -positional terminology: there is a difference between depth chart and realistic position. Edges, interior lineman, exterior lineman, ect. Linebackers who are coverage don’t rush like an edge. Let us customize it like it. I’m sure Im missing stuff, but this would be an excellent start. Especially the ones in bold print, and the major additions needed. EA, I would absolutely help you all get this accomplished too. However I could help. But man, this is rough and some of these things need to change, and change fast.

@dakotakyle95 Awesome post and I agree 100%. Would be great to get EA to put some pride back in to their work and give everyone a better franchise experience. EA is really decades behind every other gaming company when it comes to creating and making a physics based simulation game.

@Cr0wNtHe7s Thank you for your submission! I know the team is looking into the reported issues happening in the secondary. They're looking to make changes as soon as possible.I'll keep relaying feedback on QB contain in regards of taking better angles. Would be awesome to have OTAs. Right there with you on that. Would be fun to have the drills like what was in Face of the Franchise prior to being drafted.For presentation it would add a lot more authenticity to have the big networks in the game. This type of decision and discussion is beyond my involvement, however it will have to make sense for both EA and those networks. We are not able to put them into the game without their permission. Hopefully one day we can see some collaboration with them in our games like we see with NBC in NHL.

From a disappointed Madden fan:I think it’s time y’all collaborate with the folks at 2k or something. Their players look 100x more realistic then what y’all have had for years. I’m almost tempted to stop playing the game to be honest. It should not be hard to make the players body types more realistic…each player’s shoulders are way too wide with small heads! That being said…why are the numbers on the jerseys so small? The only ones that look right are Baltimore, Cincinnati, Atlanta, Cleveland, Jacksonville, New England, Tennessee, and Los Angeles.Other than the player bodies and jerseys that need to be fixed, here’s my additional requests:1. Add Detroit and Denver’s captain patches2. Field graphics should change based on uniform selection (ex. Throwbacks - NBA 2k)3. Add all the player photos4. Add more player face scans5. Fix the white sock lengths as they are either super low or way too long - standard needs to be a little shorter6. Add white socks option to the Saints and Bengals uniforms like they used to wear7. Add the correct throwback socks to Atlanta that we currently still wear throughout the season and that y’all had in Madden 20218. Add more player accessories (tucked/untucked jersey options - like in The Yard) and shoe options9. Fix Franchise glitch that locks you out after 4 seasons

Please fix the franchise gallery bugs like, random disappearances, incorrect game screenshot for example if I clipped a week 5 highlight and clipped another one in week 6 without restarting my madden it would use the newer clip and post it over the week5 clip in franchise gallery.
Also please in madden 26 make it so everyone in the stadium (fans, sidelines, assistant coaches) have a personality and not some lifeless npcs on the field staring straight and make them interact with the play like shouting out the play "run, pass!" and intensely staring at the play when necessary, and also wearing headphones and look different from one another, and same goes with the fans but I wish the fans were able to wear face paint or hold up signs, and point at the game instead of doing one animation.
I also hope that the probowl comes back in madden 26 because it gets annoying realizing that there isn't one which every madden game should have.
I also hope that madden 26 implements the character customizing from superstar mode, and add more customize features like eye color and and tattoos.
Gameplay wise I don't have that many issues with besides the aggressive catching, which seems more bland than real life and madden 16 where u can see obj moss Josh Norman or watch George Pickens catch a diving head tap, idk if it's me but I never see those type of plays by online players or cpu
But I will also like to say that it would be better if the qb would celebrate before the touchdown is scored and the team as well. And I hope u guys can also make interactions with the sidelines like if a qb runs out of bounce he can sometimes interact with the sidelines, or celebrations where u can jump on the stands or dance with the mascot.
Also please make the commentary more energetic and nfl like because it gets very annoying and boring later on

Thank you this is just my opinion and I don't expect EA to take in all my issues with the game but it's jus what I've been pondering
