Transferring data between madden versions

I have the standard edition of madden 23 for the Xbox one and I am planning on buying an Xbox series x and buying the madden version for that console. Does data transfer even with the standard edition?

    @MicrobladedSoapyes, only some long term events like solo battles and champions can only be finished on the console generation where their have been started. if you´re a member of xbox game pass you should be able to play the 10 hour trial version of m23 next gen for testing.

    @MicrobladedSoap the madden version for xbox one also runs on series x (but it looks/plays the same). you can switch between both consoles without any issues. i play mut weekdays on xbox one and at the weekend on series x.
