Unable to change and save custom gamplan in custom playbook

Hi, thank you for fielding my question. For the past several days I have been unable to delete and add new plays to my gameplan in my custom playbook. However, it will allow me to do so for normal, nickel, dime, trips, goalline, though not for bunch, wildcat,  and overload. I will delete plays from the bunch gameplan and save it and then when I go back to it, it will be the same as before. Everything else works fine, like adding and deleting plays from my playbook and changing audibles. I would love any help with this if possible. It has been a real pain trying to stop good ranked players online with a defective defensive gameplan. I'm not sure if it is a glitch that can be fixed through the internet or if there is some option I'm missing.

Thank you very much for your time,

Matt (gamertag: Yahushua1212)

Also, I just went in to rate each of my offensive plays in my custom playbook, and it was going fine, but then some of the plays would not let me raise the rating past a half of a star, though some could be rated regularly. Will tuning updates help these problems?

    Thanks again

I'm having the same issue.  I created playsets for shorter yardage situations first, such as normal, overload, wildcat, and goalline.  Next I created playsets for the longer situations, such as nickel, bunch, trips, and dime.  After saving these, then going back to check to make sure my changes took effect, I saw the playsets for overload and wildcat replaced with those from the nickel and trips situation playsets...WTF??!!

I have tried to empty the replaced playsets in overload and wildcat, then reload them and re-save, only to have the nickel and trips playsets copy over once again.  So then I tried loading nickel and trips with the plays I wanted for overload and wildcat, and sure enough those playsets replaced what was in them.  So I went back to change nickel and trips to what they should be, and sure enough they copied themselves onto the overload and wildcat situation playsets again.

After trying to delete playsets from each end, only to have the passing situation lists continuously copy themselves to the running situation lists, I tried redoing overload and wildcat, then saving the playbook as a new file, figuring saving in a new spot wouldn't carryover the error from the corrupted data in the old file, then continuing.  Yet the same problem occurred in the new file.  Even saving the playbook before making changes, creating a new file, and then trying to redo the changes didn't work...whatever I try the nickel and trips playsets continuously overwrite the overload and wildcat situation playsets.

WHAT THE HECK KINDA FREAKING BUG IS THIS, AND HOW DO I FIX THIS??!!

Has anyone tried making a playbookm with 1 play in it, then making the wildcat gameplan, and just saving it to see what happens?    Is there anyone who can currently save their wildcat gameplan?  Anyone try uninstal-reinstal?

I'd love for this long time feature to not be broken anymore 🙂

I am still seeking help for this issue as well.  Anything you p[lace in trips defense gameplan copies itself and overwrites wildcat defense gameplan during the save playbook process.  Anything you p[lace in Nickel defense gameplan copies itself and overwrites Overload defense gameplan AND the bunch defense gameplan during the save playbook process.

So while editing trips, you are also editing wildcat, edits become visible on save.

While editing Nickel, you are also editing Overload and Bunch, visible on save.

While editing wildcat, overload, and bunch, you aren't doing ANYTHING (your edits will vanish), visible upon save.

This was madden 16 in my case, a year back, and I spent about 4 hours on the phone with tech support, the resolution being they would submit a bug report. This dramatic response (sarcasm) followed me doing everything that can be done to a PS4 short of having sex with it, including actually replacing the PlayStation, with no effect.

TLDR: Dfensive Gameplan is completely broken, and EA wont acknowledge it let alone fix it, even going so far as to allow the bug to live on in the next madden.
