Unable to equip team affinity strategy item purchased on auction house

Summarize your bug I purchased a couple Rare Team Affinity items from the auction house a few days ago. Every time I try to equip the team affinity item I receive an error message "Our servers cannot process your request at this time. Please try again later." I select "OK" and I'm returned to the main menu. I've tried equipping the item several times per day over the past 3 days and this game continues to break.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Spend 120k coins on broken rare team affinity strategy items on the auction house and then try to equip in a lineup
What happens when the bug occurs? I select "OK" and I'm returned to the main menu.
What do you expect to see? My team affinity equipped in my lineup
