EA Staff (Retired)Hi @a4c56a744e107163 To confirm after you install Madden in the Epic games client it switches back to "install" or does it ever prompt you to play?
when I click install on Epic, it then has a prompt in the bottom right saying, installing partner application. The EA app pops up, and shows madden as, "manage" or "play". If I click play, it usually gets stuck on launching. Some times it will go back to the epic app and show the madden shortcut which still says, "install"
It seems the epic app isnt communicating with the EA app and confirming its been installed.
I even tried a new EA account. Unlinked one, set up another. Linked it. Reinstalled the EA app and Madden. Same issue

If not I would recommend linking them with our steps here: Link Platform accounts to EA Account
I would also verify EA App client is fully installed, and that you can launch/sign in with no issues. If not you can get the installer here.
If so try the Repair/Verify option for Madden 23 in the library of the client you originally purchase the game on.

They are linked. I even made a new EA account and linked that. Stil the same problem.
Star Wars Squadrons was purchased through Epic and loads the EAapp just fine. Installs, sees the game. works perfect.
This is 100% the communication between Epic's Madden 23 and EA app.
I have spent at least 6 hours trouble shooting for both companies. From new user profiles, to updates, to turning off all firewalls, anti virus and windows defender. Multiple hard drives. Locally installed. Run all as admin. Installed Epic, EA and Madden all as admin. Ran the direct madden file as admin instead of the shortcut.
This is 100% an issue on the merchants end and not customers. Please update this when you have patched the problem instead of using us as lab rats and wasting my time. Thank you
I have the same issue. Purchased 23 thru Epic last weekend. Installed, won’t launch. Epic store still shows install. Tried repair, no dice. Completely reinstalled EA App, Epic App, Madden 23. Nada. Clicking the exe opens both ea app and epic, still shows install on epic.
it always says, "install" under epic game launcher. The EA launcher just gets stuck or goes back to epic and shows madden as uninstalled
Uninstalled and reinstalled under Drive C, E, J
Uninstalled and reinstalled EA, Epic and Madden.
Deleted all files related to EA, Origin, Epic, Madden
Cleared all temps
Disabled all anti virus, UAC, Defender and Firewalls.
Performed all windows and graphics card driver updates.
Created another user profile, disabled all security and installed.
Linked EA account. Created another EA account and linked to it
I have done everything possible to resolve this issue. Epic and EA need to figure out why madden 23 says "install" and won't ever link to EA and confirm it's installed
