when I click install on Epic, it then has a prompt in the bottom right saying, installing partner application. The EA app pops up, and shows madden as, "manage" or "play". If I click play, it usually gets stuck on launching. Some times it will go back to the epic app and show the madden shortcut which still says, "install"
It seems the epic app isnt communicating with the EA app and confirming its been installed.
I even tried a new EA account. Unlinked one, set up another. Linked it. Reinstalled the EA app and Madden. Same issue

If not I would recommend linking them with our steps here: Link Platform accounts to EA Account
I would also verify EA App client is fully installed, and that you can launch/sign in with no issues. If not you can get the installer here.
If so try the Repair/Verify option for Madden 23 in the library of the client you originally purchase the game on.
