Unable to load up Madden on EA Play First Play Trial - Stuck on loading screen

Every time I load up madden 21 ea access, The loading bar to get into the game freezes and my screen darkens. I tried redownloading the game still won’t work I have wasted 30 minutes of the ten hours...

    The full game is now LIVE on EA Play! If you do not see it available to download, please try power cycling your console and re-open the EA Play App to see it listed under The Vault.

Thanks for following up, everyone. 


This issue is still under investigation, but there is one thing I needed to confirm. Has anyone tried playing Madden 21 with a different PSN ID on the same console? If so, were you able to start up the game without any issues? Are you only getting stuck on the loading screen with a particular account?

I am having this issue as well. Only one account on the PS4. All my trials for other EA games work fine, in fact I am able to play the FIFA 21 flawlessly. I don't understand why the trial for Madden 21 gets stuck on the loading screen at "showtime". I have searched all over the internet for this and many people have the same issue. The only people who don't have this issue are the ones who purchased the full game. Clearly this issue is not of extreme importance to EA, as this has been a problem for weeks. I would rather you guys be transparent and admit the trial is no longer available, rather than advertising it as functional. This just doesn't make any sense. It is clear the purpose of a trial is to promote the eventual purchase of the game, but how can you decide to purchase the game when EA places a barrier on the trial itself?

    Same here. Lost about 5 hours trying to fix.
