Another update for Madden - issue still not resolved.
STILL unable to select any mode at all. This is absolutely absurd how we are being treated.
It sounds dramatic, but we have all paid for a product and subscription that is not functioning correctly nor efficiently. They simply are not caring for us ‘trial’ players at all and we are not remotely a priority. How can this issue still be persisting after all these comments from numerous users - who are an absolute needle in a haystack compared to how many people it will actually be affecting.
We should ALL be at the very least refunded our money for this “subscription” if there is no efforts or attempts to fix this problem we are all experiencing (we presume there is no effort being made due to no updates whatsoever by you/your team + the ludicrous amount of time this error has been occurring for).
It’s a real shame because this, as other people have mentioned on this forum, used to be an every year now brainer’ purchase for me. This however, has completely ruined the experience.
Again, we have PAID for this service for it to not function. Just had to reiterate how ridiculous that is. Very disappointing to see this from EA and their customer service team.

We've been passing along the account details provided here, thank you all in advance for passing it along so the QA team can reference it when needed to determine the root cause. We unfortunately are having a little more difficulty in finding the root cause for this than what was initially expected, which is why we responded to the post requesting specific account details to pull together more resources. The team is still working on this and we'll let you all know as soon as we hear more back on this or whether additional details will be needed.
We apologize you're not able to take advantage of the Play First Trial. Our Support team is unable to reimburse/re-add time to the Play First Trial per technical imitations with their tools, so I do not advise opening up the game unless you've read of a workaround fix or are informed on this board when a fix/workaround has been appropriate identified to avoid you eating up any clock on your 10 hour time limit.

I only have one more question if you could answer it. Is this only an issue currently with the EA trial they EA Play ? Or is the purchased game having the same issue?
It could determine whether i cancel my EA subscription. If you can't use the trial function, whats the point. Thank you in advance.
I understand that all of the teams focus is dedicated to the new platform release and not on the already loyal customers who have already paid.

@EA_BlueberryFirst of all, this isn't directed at you personally - you are not responsible for this.
But that is rubbish that there isn't a way to be reimbursed or compensated some how. EA have offered a service which I've paid for, and they are not fulfilling. Treading thin water saying there's nothing they can do about that - there's no company in the world that can get a way with that.
I would suggest having that discussion again with whoever makes those decisions. The solution you've offered (not opening Madden) does not help the thousands/millions of new users buying a new console and utilising EA Play for the first time - as previously mentioned - it's almost robbery at this point. - 5 years agoSpoilerThanks please messenge me when u find the bug
