@madpug I’m also looking for an answer to this. I don’t think so, but don’t want to buy it in case it’s still a problem.

I honestly don't see the purpose in paying for the EA Play service which allows you to play the trial for game if it don't work. Then, turn around and buy the game anyway without knowing, basically allowing EA to double dip your wallet.
Best part is they then tell you, hey its not working so don't open the game up but keep paying for the useless service that has NO technical support. But, if you find a fix or "work around" let us know. Cool, cool, great idea.... thanks. It really is mindblowing on so many levels.
