Unable to load up Madden on EA Play First Play Trial - Stuck on loading screen

Every time I load up madden 21 ea access, The loading bar to get into the game freezes and my screen darkens. I tried redownloading the game still won’t work I have wasted 30 minutes of the ten hours...

    The full game is now LIVE on EA Play! If you do not see it available to download, please try power cycling your console and re-open the EA Play App to see it listed under The Vault.

Hey, Madden Community.

We are currently aware of players having trouble getting past the loading screen or attempting to play a game mode at the menu for the Madden NFL 21 Play First Trial. We're asking you to provide the following information to help aide the team in discovering what's causing this to happen, as it is not impacting all EA Play members.

Please provide us:

  • Gamertag/PSN ID
  • Platform you play on
  • Last time you attempted to launch the game (date & time/timezone)
  • Are you stuck at the loading screen or unable to select any game modes at the menu

    • Last time you attempted to launch the game (date & time/timezone): 11/24/2020 @ 21:00 GMT
    • Are you stuck at the loading screen or unable to select any game modes at the menu: Get to the Press X screen, load progress bar gets about 2/3 of the way up and I get a message saying the EA servers are not available and the trial cannot be played offline. Loads into main menu but all buttons are unresponsive except for the messenger.

    Are you stuck at the loading screen or unable to select any game modes at the menu: Unable to select game modes. It says the servers are unavailable and that I'm required to be connected to the servers to play the trial.

    • Last time you attempted to launch the game (date & time/timezone): Tuesday, Nov 25 @ approx 3pm Bst 
    • Are you stuck at the loading screen or unable to select any game modes at the menu: Both scenarios have occurred, with being stuck at the loading screen more common until approximately 1-1.5 weeks ago. Now, I typically do reach the game’s main menu (but) that screen does not load completely, often with missing menus/text and non-functional options for virtually all content

    That’s why I cancelled my EA Access subscription and recommended others do the same.
