Unable to play friends online in Madden 21 (Ps4)
I am not able to play unranked friends games online in Madden 21 (PS4).
If I send invite, they either don't get it or they see me as a team I did not select, but I am not there. And on my end I show my team and the opponent side is blank like I am waiting for them to join.
If they send invite, the exact opposite happens - they see blank opponent waiting for me to join and I see them with some random team (looks to be a division rival of team I have selected), but they are not actually there.
I have no problem playing random ranked online games. I get no errors. Other friends I have tried playing can play each other, but not me. I was able to play friends in Madden 20.
What has changed?
Help is needed as this will affect my ability to play in our Franchise leagues.

Make sure both you and your friend have your notifications enabled where you are able to accept invites from anyone. Found out from another player in a recent post they didn't realize they had invite notifications disabled. >_<
With the release of the next gen version, you also have to make sure both of you are playing on the same version of the game. If they are on a next gen console and you're not, they need to play on the Gen4 version of the game via their game library. Next gen consoles allow you to install both.
