EA Staff (Retired)Hey Everyone, can you try the following and let us know if you continue running into this issue?
- Connection and Advance Connection Guides
- PC - Check any AV or Firewall that might interfere/control network traffic
- Check your Modem/router settings for anything that may block/interfere with network traffic
- Switch from Wi-Fi to ethernet, or if unable move closer to your router.
- PC - Untick the options in LAN Settings (make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server)
- Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)
- Console - Remove then re-add your Gamertag
What do you mean with remove and readd gamertag?

I've done all of this and still nothing. None of the accounts on my xbox can get into the game. I demand a refund for my paying to get early access to this game. This is unacceptable.
I did what you said. Worked first time. Than took me over hour of doing this to get in again. Than its doing it again.
So here what is happening. Your server needs update to fix bug.

Than I get I need to be signed into Microsoft and we sports. Saying it was my internet.
Again it says unknown error. Check my internet speed and at 345 speed. Check Microsoft and iam logged in.
So here i go again doing what you posted. This time took me over 2 hours and I got in.
This is frustrating because everyone paid extra for the ultimate madden version. I even purchased another 2800 madden points. There really should be some kind of reimbursement from EA sports to all players. This is ridiculous for a new released game. Ea sports has how many servers and should have this down.
For example of a company looking out for customers:
When Destiny has issues with server or bugs in game. Bungie will give something to players. Either 2X or 3X XP for weeks or in game stuff to keep customers happy. They even started this major campaign to stop cheaters. They don't care if you spend money or play for free. They just want to make the customers happy.
EA Sports is billion dollar company and top gaming company. They should be blowing all these other companies like Bungie away with customer service, online servers and gameplay experience.
- @CReedXx07Xx I'm still getting the same exact issue.. I have Xbox 1. I'm getting real frustrated with this. What do we need to do to get up and running? EA reps can you please respond to some of these questions and issues as it seems like the issue is still not fixed. If there is a process for different devices PC, XBOX, PS5, etc, then please state what the steps are to follow for and we will try it. Also, what or who do we need to contact for reporting this ? Seeing that nobody was able to play or do anything? What will be done for customers who paid for early access?
I contacted EA and they basically told me to just be patient and wait...
Click on to play MUT and it comes up....been like this ALL. Day.........Connection is good....router reset.....still nothing........any news??
That’s the same garbage response ea gave me with mut level being undefined. Please log out and log back in. Talked to multiple foreign customer reps for company and each time I called they “resolved” but yet unable to play after January of this year. I’m so mad with EA and their lack of customer service. I spent a lot of money on my mut team to keep up with everyone’s teams up till January bc of work obligations. I paid for early access to only be stalled and not playing till god knows when while EA reps can’t help.
I am not a lawyer, but I went to law school. I think that a lawyer would tell you that everyone who purchased EA Play in reliance on the promise that EA would give them the game 3 days early could file a class action against the company. If you don't want to go through the hassle of hiring a lawyer, dispute EA play on your credit card. Inherent in the promise that people can get the game three days earlier was a promise that on August 16 the game would be functional. Every game has some bugs, but this game does not work for most people most of the time. If they keep selling a game that they know does not work at some point it becomes fraud. If you have not installed the game, the first thing that comes up is an agreeing to the terms and conditions. Whatever you do, don't agree to the terms, because in the terms EA probably wants to require everyone to arbitrate claims rather than going to court.
EA Sports should be held 100% accountable and refund people for EA play and early access. If all of the Madden community came together and did a lawsuit against EA Sports they would lose. It's not right they keep doing this year after year to gamers. It's either server issues, gameplay bugs, login issues, release of content not released, delays of promised content. The list goes on and on. EA spots is a Billion dollar company that just don't care about the gamers. They have control of the market for football too because the NFL keeps letting them. No other companies can make NFL football games. If there was other company making NFL games EA Sports would be in trouble and lose lots a gamers if they released games like this.

This is starting to become ridiculous. The official launch has gone through and still no fix for this bug.
