I will be honest; I stunk at the skill-based passing when I first started using it. With practice, I am starting to improve. Videos like this really help to get a fill of what you are supposed to be doing.

Agreed. This is an area I think will require practice but in the end will reap more rewards for a wider skill gap from the competitive level. Even Eric mentioned he thinks it's a great addition once you get some practice in.
It's great offline mode will have an option to keep it disabled in case players want to continue using the standard passing system we've had in our game. Adjusting the sliders is a huge help too. I guess it will just take a little bit of practice to getting used to, but I'm excited!- NatureBoy23234 years agoHero+
I am excited for this too! It's great that there's an option for players who may not want to use this. Options like this really help a video game become more playable to a lot more people IMO. If there was one thing I would add, if possible, would be a practice mode. This would come in very handy for users to try out the feature and for people like myself that could use the practice mode to get better at it before Madden 23 drops in August.

The new skill passing is dope I love it. I can lead passes the way I want and fit them in tighter spaces. And I can back shoulder certain passes. I only use the L2 button for certain passes not all the time. I do recommend to EA making the speed of the ball even faster with defensive players reacting so fast. Also more arc needs to be added to the ball on regular throws even bullet passes.
