WARNING: Cannot Trade Player- in Event

Trying to place player on Trade & received following: WARNING You cannot trade an item that is currently locked into an Event. What Event? Tried to play a friend & never did. Used the Play A Friend mode located in the middle of screen. The Competitive mode on the right lets you terminate the event with a button option. How do you terminate the middle mode? Eventually found a friend to play & now we are both locked & can't terminate even though we completed a game. Any assistance in ending this nightmare is greatly appreciated!

    @Snow4276 Remove player from lineup if you have not done so already, retire the seasons paf and then lock in a new lineup.

    This happened to me as well. When you play a friend it apperently locks your team in for 5 games. If you have a friend willing to have them join you and just quit out of 5 games with them. There probably should be a way to manually reset this but yeah thats the "fix" that worked for me.

    Actually found the solution. Play a game on the Ranked match (far right) game choice. After the match, you have the option to end the event. Clicking that option frees the lineup & my players could be traded.

    Still have this problem. Anyone found a solution? It’s February 2023 already and I can’t trade a player locked in after I remove it from my line up and retired him
