Weekend League rewards from previous week just show up as "under review"

When joining Weekend League for the first time this week, it gave me a message saying that my rewards from last week were "under review" (note that it actually shows the specific rewards that are due to me that are under review). This has happened before, and I never end up getting the rewards. Any idea how to get around this issue, hopefully without having to deal with tech support?

@Neo_Novalis @EA_Blueberry  - I'm pretty sure I figured out what the problem was: I did not play all 25 games (e.g. because I had 2 games left, yet needed to win 3 more games to get to the next level), and the message I got the following week is the message I would have gotten after I had completed my 25th game the previous week. While I have no idea if I ended up getting the rewards that were due, I now just make sure to play all 25 games.

  • @OJSimpson1970 on what platform do you play (PS, xbox, PC)? if PS or xbox, my first guess would be to do a power cycle. I've read that power cycling your device might solve issues regarding the connection to EA servers. if this bug is due to a corrupted connection to the servers (and therefore the (result of the) review is not correctly triggered (i.e. granting you the rewards), maybe a power cycle can solve it? but it is just a shot in the dark...

how to do it (taken from a post by EA_Aljo): >>> unplug your modem, router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem and router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. <<<

one more guess: maybe there is something corrupted stored in the cache. the game saves some (user-specific) information there to speed up loading processes. maybe cleaning the cache might solve your issue if the cache interferes with the process of granting WL rewards? how to do it: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/ (maybe the cache is already cleaned by doing a power cycle on xbox or PS. the process seems to be very similar, at least...)

    hope that helps. good luck!
  • @Neo_Novalis Thanks for the suggestions. I am on XBOX 360, so I delete the Madden-specific cache (i.e. its "reserved space") quite often to fix a host of other issues, but I've never tried deleting the system cache, so I'll give that a shot as well as the hard power cycle. That being said, I'd be pretty shocked if there was a connection issue that was so specific that it would cause just this problem, but it never hurts to try.

    Thanks again!
