- JMEllis20204 years agoSeasoned Adventurer@o---DaVeX---o I have EA Play Pro, so at least I don't have to pay for the game on PC. But still, its very disappointing. John Madden would be disgusted at the way the PC fan base has been treated no matter how small the group of players are, whether its 1 or 100 players. He would want us all to have the best version of the game.
Just in case you need to use the same tired message again.

Hey, Madden NFL PC fans.
This is something we’re exploring for the future. We’re still early in the transition to next-gen and right now are focused on making the best, quality experience on new consoles before we look to upgrade other platforms.Looks like once again, PC doesn’t get the newer stuff coming to madden 23. Why?! Pc runs way better than consoles. Once again, greedy EA leaving out the higher end equipment. Looks like another year I won’t be buying. You would think with EA losing their FIFA license they would stop with this nonsense and not only make better games, but include a gaming system that is a lot better than consoles. So, EA, why are you guys leaving out PC once again?
I won’t be surprised if the NFL pulls out next. Dice need a new publisher and then EA will start to go bankrupt and maybe then, they will realize their greed was the problem

Its really sad that this is the same message we have heard the past two years already and we will be hearing it again this year ☹️ I wish one of my favorite franchises didn't get treated this way on my preferred platform

We’re still early in the transition to next-gen and right now are focused on making the best, quality experience on new consoles before we look to upgrade other platforms.As always their actions do not match up with their words. Same could be said about how they promised they'd drastically improve Franchise. Your actions speak louder than your words, EA. And your actions say you only care about console players and MUT. For the rest of us, we just get hollow lip service. Time to start walking the walk, not just talking the talk. Until then, those of us you have forsaken are out.
- @TWJanssen Yep, I own Maximum football. Agree with everything you said and play it for the wonderful franchise mode to get my fix for that. I usually just simulate the actual games though, as you said, gameplay is still pretty lacking. Still a fun experience doing it that way, though!
I also play 2K5 and APF 2K8 through emulators. Still the best realistic simulation gameplay I've ever experienced even if the graphics look a little dated now. The player movement is still super fluid and amazing, though and it plays like actual football.
If there was a way to combine Maximum's Franchise mode with 2k8's gameplay now THAT would be an amazing simulation football game!!
So I'll keep doing that for now, as EA seems more interested in every conceivable game mode in Madden other than the actual simulation football mode which is Franchise (which ironically is what their exclusive contract is supposed to be about making, yet MUT and The Yard somehow is what they seem to care about? Not good.). @EA_Blueberry any word from the company yet? Its been more than a day now, or don't we get a reply in the weekend?
EA doesnt like the mods and stuff people have the ability to do on PC. It makes them look bad when nobodies buy the game and design/create/implement aspects of the game that play and look better than EA themselves release.

This is exactly where i'm at @Roninx007 but I took it a bit further last year. I gave up my EA Play Pro on top of it. Without Madden there's really no reason for me to keep paying them $120 a year when I get maybe one game I like and no quality version of Madden.
I want to love EA but they just keep giving reason not to. - DJ_Englishman4 years agoSeasoned Ace
Despite a bounce in pc revenue, EA's stats help explain their disdain towards us lowly pc gamers again this year with old-gen M23;
With a 3:1 ratio of consoles: pc revenue last year, it seems my withholding of $100 due to old-gen pc M22 disinterest made little impact on EA's fortunes! 🤣 #Snubbed
