So I have the EA Play Pro membership on the PC. The cost of the membership is about the same as the super platinum whatever madden edition you get, plus all the yearly stuff. I got it for Madden 22, and it renewed this year before the slew of problems that were there. End of the year picking new contract, just get sent back to the main menu. When you finally make it past that point, it's a carousel of trades moving all the big names in the NFL across the landscape and that's their yearly resolve to working out salary cap issues 10-20 team trades. I canceled it, but a yearly sub so will wait to see how the smoke clears after Madden 24 if I want to make that subscription again.
But the difference between 23 on PC v. the 'next gen' console is ridiculous. I'm not just talking graphics, it is 2 different games. 23 on the pc is like 22 with a reskin. My PC is a bit further along than my XBox series X, and prefer playing games on it. 2 monitors, can handle my playlist on one and cuss at the screen at the other as I try to scramble and defenders magically shed blocks and despite what the speed and acceleration ratings can run my qb down. Better to play on the PC in the basement than my xbox around the family.
