Why is my teams status yellow or red at the first snap of a H2H game MUT?

Ok so this is my 3rd year of Madden.... and I have to say that im really confused about the logic of this game.... let me explain... Ok so everyone has heard about this equalizer, and what it does....

Made it to my playoffs, and AGAIN... my team was ALL RED at the first snap.... and stayed that way all the way threw....  I was 0/26 passes completions .

This has gotten out of hand..... Guess its all about the money and who cares about the customers huh.
