Will Create-A-Team return for Madden 23?
Seriously, will it be in the game? Why was it ever removed?

We are getting create-a-team this year correct? This is what I was told last year on these forums.
Also be sure to get all player faces scanned. It's 2022 you have the technology to do this. If you can't do it then put a feature in where when we edit players we can upload images for the players.
I hope so. I have been bringing the same question myself for the past few years. No reason that it should not be reintroduced this year and they get away from the canned relocations and uniform choices. It seemed like last year they stated that Franchise was going to be addressed in this year's version but so far I have seen no effort.
So... no one knows at this point?

There is no confirmation at this stage. Not all features may be included in a closed beta because it's an earlier build and not the final release of the game. The team releases information about the new changes to Franchise mode every year in the Gridiron notes. My best advice is to hang in there until more information on Franchise will release in the coming weeks as we get closer to launch.Honestly I just want something at least similar like expansion team I know that ea can do it because they did it with nhl 22
@snooopwuzhereI've seen the rumor several places (including threads on this page) that the reason they got rid of Create a Team was because the NFL pressured them to get rid of it. Supposedly they didn't want certain colors, mascots and team names used. Dumb reason if it's true. Again, that's just a rumor I've seen. However, it's been stated by a former madden producer that the NFL is the reason they don't have half empty stadiums for teams with a horrible record anymore. The Jags owner got upset that it showed them having horrible attendance so they had to get rid of that feature.

An NFL owner got mad at the low attendance in a VIDEO GAME and so the NFL made EA take dynamic crowds out of the game so they're always packed lol.
So if the NFL says no create a team, EA has no choice but to obey.
- @EA_Blueberry They really need to bring it back. We should be able to create our own relocation teams, in Franchise and online franchise. If it's not included, then this year's game is just a Ford Focus, with spinning rims. Adding some shiny stuff to a crappy car, doesn't make it a Ferrari. The player base has been complaining about the relocation teams and lack of creativity, for years. EA needs to address it or just give the rights to 2K, so they can do it right.
So what's going on with this feature?
Any update on this? Can the rumors about the NFL wanting to remove create-a-team be verified or proven false? We are 3 weeks out from the release date so the information should be available.
