I have my doubts that's what's happening. It seems a bit far fetched since it's only my practice squad losing players, and losing them at a high capacity every single week.
I have checked the rosters those players went to, and they aren't replacing anyone, they're just backups to a full healthy depth chart.
One of my players was a 57 overall QB, and he was picked up by a team who had 3 better QBs than him all still healthy.
I don't know what's going on, but I'm pretty sure it's a bug.

@EA_Blueberry The same thing is happening to me on PS4.
I'm having the same issue, and there aren't a multitude of injuries. Teams are literally cutting players who have a better overall rating just to sign players off my practice squad. This is not occurring with any other teams practice squads only mine.
The exact same thing is happening to me on PS4. Each of the last two weeks I’ve had exactly 9 players signed from my practice squad.
4 of the 18 were already released by the teams that signed them.
I know the original post was a while ago.
this is super glitchy- What’s the fix from EA’s perspective?
I know that this is a less interesting solution because it takes away from the interesting idea of practice squad stealing, but the issue never stopped for me, even after restarting my whole franchise after title updates came and went, but I had to turn off practice squad stealing.
Like I said, I know it's an immersion killer, and not how it should have to be done, but that's the only way I can see that being fixed.
Thank you. I think that’s what it’s going to come to, I just would like for EA (I know how everyone will react to me having this expectation. I know its a looooooong shot) to provide some kind of answer.
This is a fairly little thing to get right, which hasn’t been glitchy before. I overlooked the super long loading times to edit players and the changes to scouting which at minimum make it inconvenient to see player grades and info (cause you have to click through on each player). This was kind of a breaking point.
I also only got the game about a month ago so I’m behind in my frustration.
