Xbox Series S - Disc version - How do I upgrade for my Dual Entitlement?

I just got my Xbox series S and I had the disk version of madden 21 MVP edition on my Xbox one. How do I upgrade for my dual entitlement?

    How does the Dual Entitlement upgrade work on next generation consoles?

    If you buy a physical copy of Madden NFL 21 on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you'll be able to download and play Madden NFL 21 on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X from the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store at no extra cost once the game releases.

    If you buy a digital copy of Madden NFL 21 on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, your digital copy of Madden NFL 21 on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S will be bundled with the PlayStation 4/Xbox One copy, and you'll be able to download and play Madden NFL 21 from the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store at no extra cost once it releases later this year.

    If you buy a physical copy of Madden NFL 21 on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One and upgrade to a discless PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series S, you will need to contact EA support at help.ea.com to validate your purchase using your account information to receive your free* upgrade.

    @EA_Blueberry Since I can’t get a hold of anyone from EA or EA chat support or anything I’ll just say it here. You guys stole 100k coins from me on the madden companion app and the game is actually unplayable with lag. I’m ethernet and I still can’t switch between players or make play calls fluidly in online games. Let alone half the time the ai just runs off and picks flowers in the corner of the field. Easily the worst game of 2020. And I thought your guys last attempts at battlefield was bad. This is the only new game I have and don’t plan to buy more till I get a series x. But next year, you guys are gonna lose sooooo many players

    I need a competent person to help me. I filled out the form and uploaded the picture of my disc and receipt for Madden 21 on the Xbox Series X. I had the other required info like my gamer tag, purchase price and date (even though it’s already on the receipt) and I got an email back telling me to upload the required pics for FIFA 21? Okay wrong game hoss. So I request a call and the lady tells me my documents are wrong because I didn’t have a screenshot of my console with gamer tag and tells me I need to fill out the form all over again and start the process again. I don’t have the discless version I have the series X which doesn’t ask for a screenshot of the gamer tag. I am being told I am wrong but the people on the other end don’t know what they are doing and are giving me the wrong information and having me repeat the process. Somebody please help as this is an absurd process. I have the receipt, I have the physical copy and i gave the gamer tag yet I’m still being denied my dual entitlement. This seems like a very EA process.

    @plyn4chryst And also there is no “link” to the form, it just keeps cycling you back to the main page or the “request chat” page. This process seems very broken.

    ***update- called again and they again gave me the process for the Xbox series S when I repeatedly told them I have the series x that needs a disk. Finally he tells me there is a problem with the download tells me to hold and then hangs up on me. Why is EA making it so hard to get dual entitlement? I cannot believe how bad this process is.

    You should be able to insert your disc into Series X and update to the next-gen version. The process above is only for the Xbox Series S.

    There was an issue earlier where the upgrade option was not available. This should now be addressed. When you insert the disc, visit the game details so you can view the store versions of the game. There should be an option to upgrade it to Series X.
