I understand you are facing crashing issues with Madden NFL 22 on Xbox Series X and that must be really frustrating. This issue is something we are aware of and are actively tracking in a ticket we have opened for the subject. Our game team is working on resolving the issue as soon as possible. I wanted to jump in here to reassure you this is being actively looked at by the teams and we'll provide updates for you all here as soon as we can. I was not available in the last week and just came online today, I'll be chasing this down for you this week and keep you all informed on it's developments.
To confirm from those that are crashing, is it only happening to you in Offline Face of the Franchise? I see one other person mention it was happening in MUT too.
We'll be passing info shared in this thread over to the team to help aide them in getting this addressed as quickly as possible.

It's is happening to me in MUT. Got 0 in a solo battle because my xbox randomly turned off. And lost a mut head to head. Very frustrating my xbox series x just randomly turns off.
Pre-ordered on Xbox Series X. Since day one, crashes in regular offline Franchise Mode. Seems to be getting worse. Crashes mostly in menus, but also in the middle of games occasionally. Usually crashes the entire system. It sucks. It's not playable for me right now. Cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled. Still crashing.
Same! Confused as to why this hasn’t been updated yet since it’s been doing it since launch!
It keeps crashing during franchise during any of the menus, roster management, or staff upgrades. Anything franchise related on the series X is causing crashing. Not only does it crash the game several times, it also will sometimes crash the entire Series X powering it off. I'm in online franchise and so are others. Ive never had this big of a bug on any game let alone Madden and makes me sad as a loyal Madden player since 01
@EA_BlueberryOffline Frachise. Can't make it through a game without 1-2 crashes per game. Happening during gameplay for me. X box Series X MVP downloaded off of Microsoft store.
Any confirmation if they are working on fixing the bugs on franchise mode?? Any time table for when we can play? Unfortunately the game crashes every time I’m on franchise mode,

We have another related thread on this here where we previously mentioned it was being looked into. To give the community better visibility around this we'll be marking this post solved while it's being looked into and continue to update it was we hear more info.
Thank you to everyone that was able to respond with more details we were requesting. I know crashes are super frustrating from first hand experience so it can be tough to be told to wait it out. When teams have to prioritize bugs, crashes like this being reported are considered to be of a high priority. Thank you in advance for your patience and we'll keep you informed on it's status as we receive updates.
For the record...this may be the same issue or a different one, but I'm experiencing a softlock over on the PS5. At the end of my online franchise mode experience, in the second preseason game (Seahawks vs Broncos, I play as Seahawks), I'm running into an endless loop of the Madden/Madden22/EAsports 'loading screen', and if I force the game out by removing the disc, it actually just goes right back to the endless loop. If I forcibly shut it down through the PS5's own systems...interesting.
I lost connection to the servers, so it stopped me the first time through the first quarter. So when I came back, it restarted me...at that breakpoint in the first quarter.
Still, it's as if I've done nothing since my last 'save state.'
It has happened constantly in franchise and I have also had the issues as others where after games I played in franchise all my scores and stats are erased. This is extremely frustrating considering most of us paid extra for different editions and stuff and can’t even play the game. Very disappointed in EA to say the least.
