when i had this same crashing issue during ea access one of the steps i tried was trying both image quaility and performance niether fixed the issue but yes this could be a factor. also tried multiple other graphics and video settings on xbox and the 2 displays i tried but no setting combination fixed the issue, as it only happens on xbox series x madden 22 and not another game even madden 22 xbox one version never crashes i summized it must be something wrong with this game specifically and not any setting on my end. swapping between image quality and performance could be something for ea to look into but no fix after a month means its probably not going to get fixed, go for the refund if you can like mentioned above.

No confirmation on an exact date for the next patch as dates can shift depending on what they want to address in a patch. If they need to include more updates in a patch it could shift a date back so setting specific timelines too far out can result in confusion. When we find out a specific date we'll share it here.
The Community Manager generally gives a heads up on when it comes out days prior on the Good Morning Madden streams that take place at 10:39AM ET during the week.
