Attention, Xbox and PlayStation users.

We could use your help identifying a root cause of the crashes you're all unfortunately experiencing. Can you all let us know of the following details:


  • Type of Xbox console (X, S, Gen4 version)
  • Software version of your Xbox Console
  • Are you in the Xbox Preview/Beta Program?
  • Do you have anything plugged into your console? 
    • This includes: Controller charging dock, USB cable, cell phone charger, hard drive, etc. 
  • Do you have an external hard drive synced up your console, whether you use it for Madden or not?

Please respond back with these details above so we can investigate further.

Xbox series X

OS Version- 10.0.22000.1759

In Beta program

external WD book 8TB HD and the official seagate 1TB expansion HD are only things plugged in.  I’m having the same crashing problem on 2nd Xbox series X without the WD book external HD connected.
