Per the 10/15 Title Update:

Hey Madden fans,

Today's Title Update for Madden NFL 22 is for Xbox Series X|S & Playstation 5 and contains the following:

  • Addressed an issue where players were experiencing crashing when selecting certain formations
  • Addressed an issue for Custom Playbooks being used in Online Head-to-Head modes

This Title Update is now available for both platforms.

Can you all restart your game so you are prompted with the update and let us know if you are still experiencing crashes in any game modes?

@EA_Blueberry I was actually able to finish a couple of solos with the original patch experiencing no system shutdowns.

After installing the latest emergency patch my system went back to crashing and shutting down after a few snaps in a solo.
