Hey, Franchise players.
I just came back from a short holiday break and see that you are all still being locked out from Franchise. I'll need this info to pass along to the team for a closer look into this.
- Gamertag/PSN ID/Origin ID
- Platform you play on (Series X, S, PS5, PC, Stadia)
- When did you start experiencing this error from the best of your knowledge
- Do you play on any other Gamertags/PSN IDs on the same console
- Prior to this happening were you in other leagues and recently left them
- Were you commissioner of any leagues? If so, how many?
- Do you remember what you did just before this error message started show up
I too am having this issue on the PS5 disc version. Been a little over a month now! My gamer tag is tattedrocky37. Has there been any updates to fix this issue?? I have tried everything to fix it but I still can’t play any features other than exhibition.

Based off our initial findings this appears to be a local network issue. Please turn off the power to your modem/router and power cycle your console (or restart your PC) via the instructions below.
For Xbox and PlayStation cloud saves we recommend checking to see if there is any corrupted data in there. If not and you are still receiving this error, please reinstall the game.Reboot the power to the modem/router
- Unplug the power cable from your modem/router for 5-10 minutes to refresh the network.
How to power cycle your Xbox console:
- Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
- Unplug the console’s power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
- Plug the console power cable back in.
- Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.
Clear Mac Address
- Clear the MAC Address: From the Xbox dashboard select Settings>All Settings>Network>Network Settings>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC address>Clear, then restart your Xbox.
Clear the saved game data:
- Open the Settings menu at the top of the dashboard.
- Select Storage, then select System Storage.
- Select Saved Data.
- Choose a game to access the game's saved data.
- Press the Options button and select Delete.
Reboot the power to the modem/router
- Unplug the power cable from your modem/router for 5-10 minutes to refresh the network.
How to power cycle your PlayStation console
- Touch the power button on the front of the PS4/5 for at least 7 seconds (until the system beeps twice).
- Turn it back on after 5 minutes. Launch the game.

Y’all is not understanding we have do everything & reinstalled the game & is still receiving the same message…I done deleted all my files & still giving me the same messages.. just tell us y’all don’t have no solution so y’all want to blame it on our network

Are you receiving this error when you share the game to a different PSN ID or Gamertag on your console when you try to launch a Franchise?
The team investigated this and were not able to determine an issue on their end and this is likely a desync with the console and servers. Clearing local saved data could help resolve this error too.How to manage saved data on a PS5 console- Go to Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings.
- Select Saved Data (PS5) or Saved Data (PS4).
- Select Console Storage > Delete.
- Tick the box next to the files you want to delete and select Delete.
Xbox:

I've done everything in the thread and updated the game and it still doesn't work... It's been three weeks
At what point do we get a refund for buying a game we simply can't play?

Do you have the option of downloading the Madden Companion app to verify if you see any leagues visible on there under the Gamertag you play on?

- 5 years ago@EA_Blueberry Yo we have all already tried everything you are suggesting. In my case I came here once I couldn’t find a solution looking for an answer (answers.ea.com) which you can’t seem to provide. Games dead

Thank you. We'll need to check to see if we can connect to the mode under a different network. Does anyone have the option to connect to a Wi-Fi HOTSPOT with their console to see if the error is still occurring under a different network?

ive had this exact same problem, and now i currently have no franchises i can play and the connection error wont let me begin a new one so it looks like madden is unplayable until august next year when the new one comes out for us to all be disappointed again
