My name is Tyler. Fellow madden mobile player. I stream my madden mobile content on YouTube. I’d like to share my thoughts on arena.
arena in madden mobile 22 is very unfair. Starting with the fact that every player only gets 2 arena tickets per day. Anyone that is picking up the game for the first time, has grinded the first two stages of journey and wants to try out the only PvP game mode available in the game at the moment has no chance in winning enough games for the rewards earned after scoring a certain amount of points. The only other way of claiming any tickets is by buying 1 ticket for 100 madden cash. Which is a currency people are trying to use to progress in the game. And get better players. For someone who is not paying money on the game. If you risk playing arena and losing your losing not only the tickets but the madden cash that people have earned through achievements. As a player that has spent hundreds of dollars throughout the years. I want a pvp mode that is fair. And something that people can grind without losing much as far as currency/resources. But also dishes out fair rewards for the people that have won games and have grinded the mode.
my ideas/solutions-
arena tickets being available for arena tokens/league token purchase. 2500 arena tokens will give you a pack of 5 silvers, 1600 tokens will get you an uncommon card. If there was an option to buy an arena ticket (or a certain amount of them) for 250-500 arena/league tokens would make this much more affordable for ftp and p2w players. Making it more fair. And giving ftp players a real chance to compete and earn the full amount of rewards given in the arena game mode. the players in turn would be able to spend the madden cash currency in a place where they can actually use it on there lineups. 100 madden cash doesn’t make a huge difference when you buy 1, but if you buy 10 and only win 6 games you lose 400 madden cash that could have been used for resources in upgrading and progressing through the game faster. I can say as a p2w player I lose games too, Because I’m not a perfect player. So I can only imagine how it feels for someone that has spent no money and wants to just play and get better at the game through pvp game modes. It has to be hard! And considering the few other game modes available now. Once you progress to a certain point there is no way to progress unless you beat a cpu defense that is 1000 ovr Better than you making it nearly impossible to win, or you spend money to improve your team and in turn being able to progress through the modes in that way.
giving players a game mode that is not only competitive but fair is something that the madden mobile community never wanted to lose. Arena in madden mobile 21 was more competitive then madden mobile 22 arena simply because of the fact that ftp players could play arena for nearly free and could also use the auction house to better their teams to be more competitive. Neither of which are available on this game now. We need changes to this fast. Because arena is a fun game mode that everyone enjoys.. and limiting the plays to 2 tickets per day and possibly losing the first 2 games you play is not fun for anyone and it makes everyone not want to play the game. I want ftp players to have a chance to grind for a competitive team, in the state the game is on now and seems to be heading, it seems nearly impossible for those people to ever compete.

- Spot on; Any player that hasn't already unlocked Arena, wouldn't stand a chance against the OVR AVG of All Active Arena players now (and its only been 4-days..).
- I am curious as-to what the Average OVR is for Arena, and how much it has increased since launch,

- Again, Spot on. The Silver rewards in MM21 Arena were definitely one-sliver above nothing [once season-1 started], however Sunday Nights were pretty cool to play with everyone and get some unofficial comp-sessions cross-leagues, and the rare GA wins.

- 100% Agreed! Furthermore, our first-entry was always Free, so when we sacrificed the previous nights carry-over-entry, it wasn't really 'lost' like it is currently.
- With all that being said, the difference between finishing RANK 251 andRANK 4,999is FOUR Uncommon Players, 200 Trophies and 375 Madden Cash [not good Jerry].
- As someone currently [craply] averaging > 19.50 PPG; 29-10 current record, and 856 pts, I am in RANK 541 right now...
- ITS COOL that you're rewarding '5,000 players with a Rare Player', although competitive players need:
- a reason to grind:
- RANK 50 has 2,962 Points; 101-12 and could very-easily slip out of top 50...
- RANK 1 has 16,955 Points; (est) 610-21 ....and there's still 7 days left
- If Every total match is averaging 4min for both sides to finish/starting another ticket-spin immediately after drives, it would still take 42 consecutive-hours of undistracted grinding, just to play the games, let alone average > 23 PPD (and a 97% win-rate)
- How much time is a player expected to invest to finish in the Top 50? 40 hours every 2-weeks?
- Why would hundreds of LvL leagues grind Arena, if they knew they were gonna get pretty much the-same-cookie-cutter rewards between ~200 Arena Points [Rank 4999] and 3800 Arena Points (Top 50 Rank scores are going to be much higher than this)
- At 15 Matches-Per-Hour (4-min games), winning with Perfect 29's, it would take ~ 7.5 hours to get 3800 Arena Point
- At 10 Matches-Per-Hour (6-min games), scoring 22 PPG and an 85% win-percentage (no ties), it would take >15 hours to get 3800 Arena Points...
- Bonus: You would also need to spend MC since 15% of your games are losses; 3 Tickets every 2 Hours = 150 MC Spent Per Hour = 2250 MC @ 15-hours
- Most casually, at 8 Matches-Per-Hour (7.5-min games), scoring 20 PPG and a 75% win-ratio (no ties), it would take > 21 hours to get 3800 Arena Points...
- BonusPt2: You would also need to spend MC since 25% of your games are losses; 2 Tickets Per Hour = 200 MC Spent Per Hour = 4,200 MC @ 21-hours
- or they could get 84 first-purchases for stamina with that 4200 MC
- or they could grab first 3 Stamina Offers Daily @ 400 MC and use the 600 stamina for 10.5 days elsewhere.
