Arena needs massive changes ASAP
First off it's the only competitive mode left with OD gone so making it pay to play is ridiculous but let's look past that for now. Just got a matchup on my first attempt that was me 2400 vs them 30...

@drtydozen13 But if a seperate selection pool exists in these arenas then this good teams are having to play harder opponents only because their team is better? Doesn't sound like free enterprise to me.
@imt6yBecause it's not a free enterprise. It's a game that's supposed to provide a good user experience to all not just a few.... especially for the many players trying the game for the first time why would they continue to play if all they do is lose and not even have the opportunity to improve..... at least if they get to keep their attempt in an impossible match up they might at least try to keep playing. I absolutely have no issues playing teams at my same level. I have far more sense of achievement at beating them then murdering poor teams that are 1000 below me because it takes no skill and by the same token just get enraged when i lose to a team 1000 above me when on a level playing field I'd probably beat them. So yes the tiers are necessary and the higher level teams should have to play each other but by the same token the rewards for that higher tier are greater so you do get more by competing against tougher opponents.
- @drtydozen13 They went out of their way to make 3 separate arenas already... look I get SMOKED by some players with waayyyy power than myself... but those people paid for that team, probably because they want to dominate people. It sucks when it happens but you move on you know?
- @imt6y The point is that the attempts cost soooo much more that you can't just take the auto loss and move on. You're stuck because you lose and can't justify the expense of buying another attempt just to be crushed and lose that attempt too! It's a broken system that needs too be fixed.
