You must not be a long time player of the game to say you don't need the auction house to improve... If you want to play as a casual player then no, you do not need the auction house... However for me this is my third year.. My first years team was 95 end of season. last year 105, this year I was already at 100 and that was simply because of a lucky card I received and then sold in the auction house for a lot coins... That allowed me to spend time buying up players needed to train... 80,000 training points between a 99-100 player is a lottttt of gold players man... I am also trying to stay competitive as I run a league in the top 500.... This is becoming impossible as leagues we play have guys with 105 overalls already, 102's in the weekend tournament, and h2h... I am already behind the competition and I have no chance to level up, except for the daily packs that come at 6am..... Once again, its a lottttt of gold players for me to gain just 1 level.... In the 3 weeks I have been locked from the auction I have only managed to level 2 players up from 99-100 with gold players from packs... It sucks... I spent time to get good and now am being punished.. You clearly would rather play casually, where I took more pride and effort in playing this game in particular... I do not play anything else
@hc206 - i'm a long time player and have simply been able to achieve similar (in some cases better) results as you. I was a 106 last year and have already reached 97 overall this year without the use of the AH. To say that I must not be a long time player just because I don't need the AH is just a silly response. In my last few responses I agreed that the AH has it's place, but doesn't prevent you from playing the game, which is a true statement and a fact. In my most recent statement, I agreed with @nay1017 that I could see the value in the AH to complete sets that had live events and store packs no longer available.
All of your "goals" or "results" are valid for what you are trying to do. I have not and am not knocking those goals. Congratulations on getting to 100 overall with your team this year and for being so lucky to pull a card worth so much. I applaud you!
No matter how you look at it, there are obviously players that have cheated the system by farming coins in a non approved method by EA. It's not for me to judge who those players are or aren't. For the players that have done this, I completely agree with the actions EA has taken and in my opinion, I would not give the AH back to those players. For the players that were found guilty by association, it's unfortunate and I can understand their frustration. I, like many of you, hope that EA is able to identify and resolve those scenarios.
In regards to your last comment. You are entitled to your own opinion and therefore so am I. If you have being playing this game for 3 seasons and are dependent on the AH to achieve the overall rating you are, then you clearly don't know how to grind and play this game. You and I have a different definition and level of pride and effort. I have more pride in the fact that I can accomplish what you can, and without having to scout the AH to buy my players. You obviously pride yourself in the fact that you can purchase your team, which isn't wrong. We're just on completely different levels!
I do not need to listen you sticking up for a company that used no viable method to determine who boted, bought coins, cheated or whatever it is they claim people were doing!! They could hav easily fixed any of these problems with a beta, or some pre season testing but no!! They just screw up, then punish innocent players for having done nothing wrong!!!!
EA should maybe explain to people what they did... Also not spam the auction house with cheap items 1 week prior to the ban wave and using that as a way to catch people??? SO TWISTED ON SO MANY LEVELS!!!
I am 30 years old.. Played online poker for 15 years now... Made tens of thousands of dollars online... I know for 100% fact that those sites and casino brands offer software which detects bots.... Its as simple as timing, how often peoples actions are timed virtually the same.. How likely they fold to a 60 - 40% flop... There are MANY WAYS to distinguish who is a cheater... BUT THIS IDIOTIC world leading company just went on a random wave and took anybody they thought and kicked them out of a game theyve played for years!!!!!!! In 3 years I never pulled anything close to Randy Moss, Now the season that I have this bunch of crooks thinks they can lock me out for their own unknown reasonsafter having sold him...
EA keep supprting you Youtube streamers wit hundreds of dollars worth of pack openings a day.. Keep tricking the people into thinking this game provides a fair opportunity when it no loinger does... My top 500 rank league is already falling behind now that people are unable to contend with the better leagues we are starting to face... All these for some reason lucky people who got to keep their auction houses have had nothing but an advantage over me and the rest of the honest player base!!!
I have never seen support on such a poor level as what EA offers.. I have literally tried every method and waiting now for an answer from anyone.,.. EVEN their forum mods dont even have the backbone to answer in their own writing... copy and paste company.
I really cant believe you just went and said in your last paragraph I don't know how to grind this game either... My team has been nothing but a grind.. You have no idea... I would come home from work at 1 in the morning and be online until 5 am. writing down the times every 5 minutes when auctions would drop.. I would then buy items to train my team with.... I was putting in 20 hours a week or more alone trying to boost my taem overall!!!

Even a regualr 100 player to bring to 101 how many training points do I need... And via your smart logic how would you grind those training points???? Would you sit here until next august to get to 105..?? Like I said you are clueless..., This is the one and only game I play these days lol, don't go telling me I don't know how to grind. I am left buying 2 huddle packs a day and 10 pro packs for who knows how long., that gets you nothing when it comes to training value... Why am I facing 105 opponents in h2h already?? Shake your head bud, get the point.. You are defending a company that had no basis to block people except that they screwed up... Even in their TOS I did nothing to violate, hence waiting for the answer....

I would suggest you get to know the game better. There are a number of ways that you can train players. To answer your question, if you have a Legend player, the cards usually have the team that the player plays for (it's located in the bottom right corner of the card). There are cards that can be earned by completing sets that are worth more when training Legends and other event card players. Some of these ways are using other Legend collectibles or 24/7 gold or elite players that play for the same team. I have used this method among others to get some of my legends up to a level 98. I also have a Turducken +1 level up that can be used to level my player up to a 99, but that's just another example.
Hope this helps you and answers your question. Although, i'm guessing you're still going to find something to complain about with this response. Either way, keep grinding... you'll get better!

Am i supposed to buy stamina for all the training events that pop up?? Then get 400 silver training at a time?? ITS 80,000 training for 1 player.... There is no method?.. I have had no auction house for 3 weeks.. I have been buying max pro packs a day max all packs.. I convert silver players to gold bronze to silver.. I train with everything... You are makign me so angry at the fact you think its so easy when clearly you don't have a clue!! Nor do you care enough about your league or team to make this an issue....
Give me one example smartass about how you would train a 80,000 training point player right now?? And how do u do that un under 1 week?? And how to I keep my team on par with the 105s now?

This is also true for Top 100 players. If you train a Top 100 player with their own Top 100 collectible, the collectible value is worth double the normal amount. As a strategy, it's helpful to hold onto some collectibles/cards for the right timing on when to use them.

Try using the different Daily Packs each day. I often get some decent players there, without having to spend any money. Change your items out once you've collected the daily pack for the day and put in whatever you're grinding for. If you want TOTW players then use the stamina and token boosters for those live events. It's actually quite easy, if you know what you're doing.
There are sites that have a list of all of the upcoming live events so that you can plan your day accordingly and use your stamina wisely.

ok so I get 1 top 100 training collectible worth 50,000 points... MAAYBE GET cam chancellor worth 100,000... AT THE VERY LEAST. I have to wait 12 days IF I PULL CAM CHANCELLORS EVERYDAY..... if not thats a 22 day wait at 50,000 a day training.. Or by lowering my team which I do not do anymore... Its just not wortht he time and effort... While the rest of the people who played no differently than I did prior to the ban, can surpass my overall and my entire league.. Once again... Why am I being matched up vs people who are 107 or 110 or 103 even on a weekend tourney?? I have no chance at those numbers anymore with what im limited to.. Yet being thrown at that competition as a good ol slap in the face?? I am with a 97 offense, and 101 defense, no longer up there when it comes to overalls.. I am below average in most of the h2h competition... Again this all boils down from a false ban, that I am beyond annoyed with now after 3 weeks of waiting.. I avoiding the refund route because by now I figured something would have been known.. But still its in the air, and the only answers I am getting here are ones already know?? Or to train in methods that do not keep up with the pack... I didn't blow 220$ on this game in 2 months for this bogus treatment from all aspects of your support system.

Also, only because I like you, i'm going to share another tip. When you are managing your lineup, EA has provided a method to ensure you're playing to your fullest capabilities. There is an option to select "Best Lineup" which will automatically place your players in the best possible positions to help you be successful.

The only response I will be happy with is weather or not we are going to be back in the auction house or not... I have no reason to play this game without the ability to play it the way its intended.. I was patient for quite some time waiting for something on EA's end, but the days are rolling on and its still nothing.. We hear that my early December auctions will be unlocked to players yet here it is the 6th and still no follow up on that since the 28th of November... I frankly want to know what EA claims I did, which I know based on your own TOS was nothing, and also when or IF the auctions are going to be unlocked to us once again..I am literally only waiting for that in order to make my refund claims and say farewell to my league... Just saying that is just sad... 3 years I have players with some of these guys, 3 years have helped each other improve from a 7000 ranked league to last season 1400 to this season sitting at 400.... We all worked hard to get where we were and all of the sudden things changed... For nothing. The goal was to be competitive this season more then the last 2, that goal has been madenear impossible now after 3 weeks of very challenging matchup's that continue to get worse..
I don't play other games, hence why this has me choked.. The time I spent personally sitting here working at it.. I would like to know now after all this time whats happening.. At the very least players deserve that... We have had enough time consumed by the company this season its time to provide answers so people can either move on, or actually stay if this was just to repair the economy... BUT literally we are clueless in all regards to what we did, and whats happening.. Not fair on any level and even you should be able to agree with that.

The system does not work.. Not one single person has been allowed back into the auction house since the ban wave 3 weeks ago.. We also have not received anything more than automated emails which claim different things in each.. When appealing the emails as early as the 22nd of last month they have not responded in ANY way.. So no!!! This does not work!! Not at all, they do not investigate the accounts at all for if they did they would clearly see what took place... They did not even read the evidence and email I provided them... The original email claimed we were locked out for like 10 different things, none of which applied...
I am on muthead everyday... I know that this has not been solved for anybody.. There are posts about it non stop.
I have seen poker players kicked off of websites for boting!!! I have personally seen the email that was provided to those players after.... BOTS are detectible, very easily actually based on timing... So?? Again I am curious to know what they are doing here to people with no proof? Was it me selling Randy Moss?? Was it me buying the cheap items in the auction house that EA was throwing at us like candy for a week??? What was it, and why can they provide no answers yet 888 pokers franchise or Poker Stars can within hours?? You would think EA would maybe invest in some software that detects that type of thing rather then just guess?? Or was this about if you had over a certain amount of coins and EA didn't like it they blocked you?? I am sooo curious, because hoenstly it feels to me like the day this all started was the day I purchased a damn item from your store with something of value inside.

Sounds like the answer a company of amateurs would give, It's all a mystery..Just wondering who the Exec. there is? Is he like 20? By the professionalism of EA its sure seems like it.. I mean if that's how they want to treat players who played EA games since like super nintendo days lol... I'm never gunna spend a dime on this game or any other for that matter until I see improvement..Time to take some other routes besides that of EA support. Reporting this to the BBB or seeking legal advice based on the fact EA stole from people including myself with no responses or reason would probably be a better option for my time.. When you buy a pack in the store that says it sells "Auctionable players" Then have your accounts auction closed after selling that player is going against your own TOS.. When no reason was provided as to what was done incorrectly.. You cant send 10,000 people the exact same email and claim it as justifiable.. That is not proof, and that is a lot of money you just sucked out of the system based of an assumption that was wrong.
@hc206 I don't believe anyone is holding you back from taking any action you feel necessary. As with anything in life, do what you need to do, but speaking from experience, just don't expect the results you want to always happen. That's not to say you won't get the results you want, but just be prepared as you never know what could happen.
For the record, i'm not affiliated with EA. I'm a user just like you, who also grew up playing various forms of game consoles. Unfortunately, i'm probably dating myself when I say I grew up with the original Atari and had plenty of games on the original Nintendo. As I've stated before, I don't share the same problems or concerns as you and actually love the Madden Mobile game. I have also always had a positive interaction with all of the EA staff. Maybe I just have realistic expectations, or maybe I understand that the guys helping me aren't the ones that developed the game or enforced the ban.... or maybe I just look at things differently and try to be productive in my responses and working towards a positive solution. Although, there's always a chance that I'm just lucky, which i'm okay with.
However, speaking to people the way you do is never productive and accomplishes nothing.
I'm also very active on Muthead, although under a different name. Congrats to you for being so active on multiple forums and being a contributor. There aren't a lot of people out there that are doing gods work.
