Can’t trade madden 23 max players on 24 mobile

I’m trying to trade my old madden max players from madden 23 on madden 24 mobile for resources but they don’t even show up as an option to trade. Someone explain please.

You can only trade max players for stamina...only MM24 iconics can be traded for resources.

Yes I understand that.  My Maxx players are in inventory but when I go to set they are not there to trade in
