Can't sign in with google play games even after update

Hello, I know in a recent update you patched the error in which players could not sign in with google play games. However, even after updating, when I try to sign in, after I select my email, it show...

    Hey, I know I haven't responded for a while, but the recent update must have done the trick! Everything works fine now. Thanks for the help!

You may have tried some of the following but there may be steps you have not done yet:

  • Sign out of Google entirely, Restart device, sign in again, retry
  • Uninstall, restart device, reinstall, retry
  • General iOS/Android troubleshooting: LINK
