Compatible O/S and devices for Overdrive?

Dear Madden NFL,  board moderators,  any EA employee......The message in your game says to search EA help for information about compatible devices with overdrive but upon doing such search, it return...

    @yourNaybor Hi, we have the following info on the requirements for when Overdrive becomes available:


    You’ll need a device with OGLES 3.0 and 1G RAM to play. That means it will have specs equivalent to the Samsung Galaxy S5 or newer for Google Play devices, or an iPhone 5s or newer for iOS devices. Upgrade your device to join us in the new season.

and you can't even get an answer from anybody! *! what tablet, if any, can be used for overdrive? I'm not about to spend a thousand dollars for a stupid phone that I don't even want! Just answer the * questions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

        I suspect that phone may not be able to play Overdrive, but it's worth trying after the update.

        In some cases minimum spec requirements are hard cut-offs and in some cases they're suggested specs in order to get a better experience, and the game will still run. Unfortunately I haven't been able to test on below-spec phones so I can't confirm or deny whether the game will run.

      Yeah it's ridiculous. It's an app for a phone. It shouldn't be required to upgrade your entire life to play it. I played for 3 years everyday and spent ALOT of money on madden. Now I just bought 2 brand new tablets for the new season and neither is compatible.  So I'm cutting my losses and calling it quits on Madden.
