They definitely need competition. Whatever happened to NFL 2K series? It wasnt as good but at least it was an option!
@LakersPackers76 EA has an exclusive deal with the NFL and NFLPA so they are the only company that is allowed to use the NFL players likenesses.
Who wants to play a game with a bunch of made up players.
Plus I'm sure they buy out any game company who even tries to compete. They are the Microsoft of the NFL gaming community.

- @thegatorfan122 honestly if the game was good with made up players I'd be down but honestly we play madden cuz we're NFL fans and having our favs on our teams makes it so much better.
It's too bad ea only sees this game as a cash cow to milk dry instead of recognizing the huge following madden has and is worthy of investing in to make it a great game. if ea worked as hard at making this a great game instead of quick rip offs(the recent no jackson debacle for example) they would easily double profits- @Sp3w4567 I agree... If they focused on actually making the game that we wanted instead of the game they want us to have the profits would flow in.
Take, for example, the fact that totw, flashbacks and phenoms are all random tier at thier highest level. I got burned on it with both flashbacks and phenom and now I won't spend a dime on any of those promos. I'm not a gambler, especially when the odds are so low, and I really don't see the return for my investment. And I'm not the only one, believe me.- @thegatorfan122 for sure gator... I learned early on ea likes to dangle that carrot. i only spend a little here and there now cuz of bs pull rates and only buy when I know 100% what I want is in the pack.
gambling with ea odds makers is a fools game. you're more likely to win the lottery in back to back weeks, predict every game of the NFL season correctly, get struck by lightening multiple times than beat ea pull rates.
that's the reason they had so much trouble with people buying coins and had to redo the ah. 2 years ago I know of people that bought 100mil coins for $10. that beats ea all day long
SHOOT SPEAKING OF NO JACKSON!!! Am I the only one that burned a significant amount of capital and resources farming every damned thing I could and got diddly squat? Its lile they turned off elites in pro packs and everything for that supposed opportunity! 2 mil on pro packs and only 80 card the entire time!
- @LakersPackers76 ea burnt me years ago so I didn't chase after bo. they got me the same way years ago. they got several this year tho. I've read many people bought 100+ packs and not 1 elite
