General App Shenanigans

Changing this to be a repository for the shenanigans in-app that I see.  Feel free to post yours too:

How do I get my players to be this invincible?  Ram the kicker and nothing happens.  His own guy wraps him up and nothing happens.  In both instances pictured, the kick was good.  And what’s with the computer getting to boot 60+ yards FGs with accuracy and making them?!

Like three weird things happening here.  First, there’s a TE lined up as the Left Tackle, second is Darnold is lined up behind the Left Guard for the snap, the snap even goes sailing over to Darnold in the wrong formation and Third, the actual Left Tackle is on the right side lined up as a TE.  Multiple shift and formation issues with this but that’s rulebook stuff that’s beyond casual can knowledge so I’ll refrain.

@itsmraj2uThat's actually a common and completely legal formation called an overload. As its name suggests it creates an overload of o linemen on one side of the formation to increase the chance at a successful running play to that side without actually having to bring in an extra lineman and have them report as an eligible receiver.

@drtydozen13 Hence the not going into more specifics about the rule book. This wasn’t designed to flow this way, you can tel that by Darnold being over a Guard and the ball zipping over to him. The overload makes sense with the rearrangement like what Belichik likes to do as well as having a TE in the backfield on the overloaded side, but more to it not being what we’re seeing here, their second TE is on the left and not overloaded side.

@itsmraj2u Oh yeah the QB is in the completely wrong position for the snap, i was only commenting that the position of the OT and TE are as intended.

@EA_Blueberry  My words are few.  Just make this competitive, not broken like this.  Budda Baker is listed as 5’10” 195lbs  Rob Gronkowski goes 6’6” 265lbs and he gets mauled by the eight inch 70lbs lighter DB and also doesn’t jump for a contested ball

Please just make it a 50/50 ball as they call it in the league.  Let there actually be a chance.

In the interim, why aren’t we getting our tickets back when we’re matched with these guaranteed losses?

In production/manufacturing/labs and so many more disciplines in the working world, there are quality control teams to catch stuff like this.

Is there a Quality Control process for this App?  It’s been around for the bulk of a decade, why does this stuff happen?

More images, so many instances in so many scenarios.  Why create different size players with different attributes if they don’t play like those attributes?

Video capability would be great to show my 110 Speed running backs getting chased down by 320lbs linemen.
