H2H 1st drive: Game crashes right before my KR Catches the ball

This is the 2nd time I have had this happen.

I start a h2h match, the opposing team does the 1st drive kickoff....the ball is in the air & right before my KR player is to catch the ball. Bam! the screen goes black on my ipad & 15 seconds later...my desktop is displayed showing my apps. So, I log back into MM18 (that has the latest update) and it showes that I forfeited the H2H match? which I did not do?

I have lost at least 2 matched because of this, maybe 3? This may seem minor, but these little glitches add up over time.
