How to play with my friends on madden mobile

I want to play with my friends on madden mobile from Facebook, but it won't let me, even search for them.

This is a known issue. That feature quit working some time ago and EA had been unable and/or unwilling to fix it. With a completely new version of the game to be released on August 15 I wouldn't hold my breath that this issue will be fixed.
