I'm honestly tired of your BS "we are working on it" answers Barry. This app had the same problem last year so what was the fix then? Or did you just string the customers along hoping they would forget about it? You and your staff are incompetent. People are trying to spend money and you can't figure out how to do your jobs and make it for EA. I'm amazed you're stilll employed. All anybody is asking for is that EA actually stop and fix this bug and take care of the customer. Why is this such a hard concept for you all to grasp? Stop feeding us the lies of "we are working on it". And don't insult us by "thanking us for your patience". I promise you the we do not believe you are working on it and the patience have run out for the people effected by this error.
Possible solution.......
Might be onto something (since EA isn't).
I've been playing on a iPad and I've had the StoreKit error forever.
1) Yesterday I went into the Madden 18 iPad app and went to Settings (gear icon to the right of the trophy on the Madden menu).
2) Then I went to "Recover Account".
3) I downloaded Madden 18 mobile to my iPhone.
4) When I launched Madden on my iPhone, I went to "Existing User" and instead of logging in with Facebook or Game Center, I selected "Recover Account"
5) I typed in the recovery code and magically I could successfully buy things on the iPhone Madden Mobile for my account. I closed out and went to the iPad Madden Mobile and the items I punched on the iPhone were there... At that point I almost crapped my pants.
Unfortunately, I still get the StoreKit error on the iPad, but if I switch over to the iPhone I can purchase at will. I've tried unlinking devices and changing from Facebook login to Game Center login and the iPad still gets the StoreKit error, but the iPhone still works on the same account.
Problem is I didn't write down the recovery code (and I think it would have only worked once anyway) so I have to wait another 24 hours before EA will give me another account recovery code. When a new code is available, I'm going to delete Madden Mobile from the iPad, then download again with the Recover Account code I get from the iPhone. If it works, I'll post an update with the exact steps that worked. There might be an easier way to achieve the same thing but if it works I'll let everyone know.
Only hesitation for getting it to work is I don't really feel like giving EA money at this point... If this process works, EA should give anyone who had this bug a significant coin and/or Madden cash gift (like I'll hold my breath for them to do that after the lack of effort to date.).
Anyway - if you try it and it works or you find a shorter process that works please post it and share the info.

Still fails on the iPad after trying the "Recover Account" trick, but at least I can purchase on the iPhone now.

The fix for this issue is to be included in an upcoming update.

I will tell you that they did say they were working on it. I was compensated with some all pro packs and madden cash. It still stinks not to be able to make any cash purchases though. Especially with all of the promos.

EA and ea_barry still refuse to give a legitimate answer. They do not Provide adequate customer service. If they were as bowing the least bit of concern this would already be solved. They do not even read this thread because they don’t care. Also ea_barry doesn’t respond to private messages. In general we are all screwed and can’t even buy EA_vasoline.

I did manage to make a purchase using my fiance's itunes account. I simply went on her iphone, kept her logged into her itunes. I then downloaded madden mobile, logged into my madden account with my facebook account and made a purchase. There is something up between my account and madden mobile. I have no other issues wiht any other apps and making purchases using my itunes account. It's not ideal but at least I got to make my purchases and continue upgrading my team. So if someone will make a purchase on your behalf using their itunes account, it should work.
