Kickoff game day events bs

What is the point of having to play default Bronze teams for the game day events? We earn our players and even spent money to create our rosters. First off, we shouldn't be playing basic default players when we have clearly put in effort to create our rosters. For example I am playing like a 68 rated Derrick Henry so run plays are out of the question. I can't just play a 3k rating chiefs team with my roster that I've built? Secondly, why am I not ever receiving the ball? During both halves of the game, I am kicking the ball off. Wtf? Normal games don't even work like this. Get your * together EA and yes I'm mad bro
