I have 108 OVR Daron Bland (CB), 104 OVR Harrison Smith (S) and 100 OVR Calvin Ridley (WR) that are all benched player cards and am unable to add them into the Core “Iconic Offensive/Defensive Player” trade-in sets, or any other set for that matter. I do not understand why. It is almost as if I can no longer trade in any Epic player cards.
Can someone from EA please address this.

If you are unable to exchange players via trades, that indicates that you have those players rostered in a lineup. Players must be removed from all your lineups to be eligible for trades.
While the indicated players may not be rostered in your primary/default lineup, those players are likely being rostered in one of your additional lineups you may have set. You can check for additional lineups you may have created by selecting the down arrow to the right of your current lineup name on the "My Team" screen as depicted below:
Once you remove all those players from your lineups you should be able to use them in trades.
