I hope you are correct ChopBlockBronco! It sure would be nice if someone, anyone at EA would take 5 minutes to update this thread with a progress report. I've been checking here regularly after being directed to this post by an EA rep, but the only thing that is EVER new is a slew of feedback from more current customers (that's right EA, these are your customers!) documenting all of the players and coins they lost due to the auction house glitch. This has really been an amazing fail by EA, start to finish! Unbelievable how poorly something can be handled, especially by a company that obviously has the resources to do a much better job. I have no doubt that this is a complicated problem, but companies deal with complicated problems every day. The successful ones get out in front instead of playing from behind. I'm sure that EA isn't looking forward to giving out a bunch of coins in an attempt to address this issue. OK, I guess. Well, doing nothing obviously isn't working. The fair thing to do would be to give everyone back the players that they lost. Why risk damaging the brand over this by giving everyone the run-around, constantly closing in-resolved cases, threatening account closures, and basically insinuating that everyone who plays your games is a liar and a crook? Most of this negative publicity, which just keeps perpetuating in EA's silence on this issue, could be quelled if there was someone at EA providing regular and consistent feedback regarding what is being done to resolve this problem. It's not rocket science folks, just common sense!
[Comment Removed - Admin.] That's probably the only thing that would really work to move this forward...
