Madden Mobile gameplan

I recently purchased a defensive unit defensive gameplay item for 600,000, a significant amount of coin that took weeks to accrue. In addition to the individual play counter percentages, a plus two (+2) strength boost to all players on the team  represented by this item. This plus two (+2) boost indeed had an impact on my decision to spend my entire bank roll. The plus two strength boost was NOT applied to my active players from the associated team. Its been almost 24 hours, and I've rebooted my device and the mm app. Advice/suggestions to a speedy resolution?
