Master Series Chest Doesn't Pop Up

I saved up gems and got the AFC field pass for 4K gems in the new road to playoff series. I selected bottom path (91 stills) and I completed the first 5 events and I have the final given chest. However, it will not let me tap it to open. Is anyone else having this problem? Tried deleting and reinstalling the app, nothing. If this rips me off 4K gems I am never touching another EA game again.

For every other problem with a chest that will not open, there is a common, but dumb fix.
Turn Wifi on (or off), and then toggle it back. For some reason, switching between wifi and cellphone data fixes this problem. It has happened to me on two or more Master Series events. You do not even need to connect to a Wifi network, just turn it on and back off.

When I saw this as a solution, I was really skeptical. If you are attempting this, make sure to go back into the game before turning Wifi back off. (Or I assume back on, if you normally play on Wifi.)
I had this problem twice, and it fixed it both times. I still think it should be fixed, but was hoping it helped.
