Network Connection Error

Since yesterday morning I cant get onto Madden Mobile 20 via wifi but i can over mobile data, same for ea's help website. If i try the website I get a DNS error. When i try the game it says network connection error, although im connected to wifi and can visit other webpages and stream videos. My isp said they were having some DNS errors. Could this be on their end or EA's end? I'm assuming the webpage and game both are ran off same servers which is why I cannot access either via wifi. Most Feared drops today and looks like I'm gonna miss out on at least part of it.

  • I tried everything, uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared app data and cache, cleared chrome data and cache. Literally any and everything. Then I contacted my isp and talked to them for over hour, finally found that my isp was having dns errors with certain servers. So was on their end. After 2 days they got it straight and has been fine running normal since. Thanks you for taking your time to respond.

An update dropped yesterday so it's possible you tried to login while it was going live. Have you tried restarting your device or re-installed the app to see if that can help get you back in? If you synced up to your account to Facebook/Apple/Google your progress will be preserved when you re-install.

Glad to hear that was figured out on your end. I actually was getting disconnected from games at home and decided to switch from the 5.0 WiFi channel to 2.4 and it instantly started loading up much faster. Avoided the disconnections for the weekend too. A lot of the newer routers have 2.4 and 5.0 channels, so it might be worth changing to the other channel to see if that helps.

    Good luck!

"The 2.4 GHz band provides coverage at a longer range but transmits data at slower speeds. The 5 GHz band provides less coverage but transmits data at faster speeds."
