I have the exact same issue. I have spoken to an advisor twice about it.
In fact EA gave me a token but it's useless. It has to be a CJ token when I exchange the set. So I have a token but the CJ isn't unlocked and I have all the stuff ready to go. I was talking to an advisor who told me to exchange the 93 player, I did, got 32k TP but no token and now I am out a 93 player!! I could have sold him. I have NO upgrade and no solution. Just unlock the set so I can upgrade.
I posted on the link they gave me, which is the other forum. I have 12 hours to go and get this done.

I was. I was even given back a 93 Calvin Johnson to replace mine but it is the wrong playbook. It is spread and I needed West Coast

Yes, it was a 93 CJ that I earned from the Madden Feast promo. I was ready to unlock but it would only offer 32k in TP. I didn't want the points, I wanted the upgrade. I spoke to EA about 3 times about this. I was literally on the phone with the EA advisor who told me to exchange the player and it would unlock. I told him I didn't want to lose the player if it didn't work. He assured me this is what the specialist had told him to advise me to do. So I did. Exchanged for TP, it didn't unlock and the advisor disconnected the call. I had to call back again and now I lost my 93 CJ who was at least better than what I have now! Like I mentioned I could have sold him in this promo rather than get all those TP. EA admitted it was a glitch and gave me a token but that token was worthless if CJ was still locked. I just wanted it unlocked so I could fulfill the set and then they started to tell me to post here.
This is just not okay.

David, I went ahead and exchanged the Spread 93 Calvin Johnson I was given due to the glitch just so I would at least get a little something. Is there any way that the current 95 Spread Calvin Johnson from the New Years event could be exchanged for a 95 West Coast New Years Calvin Johnson? That’s the one I wanted when the original problem occurred.

I exchanged my 93 ovr Calvin Johnson west coast, but it didn't unlock. In stead it unlocked Tom brady qb vertical in the 91 OVR upgrade set.
I cant use Tom brady qb vertical because i'm on the west coast scheme.
Please fix it.
Tried to exchange my 93 Calvin Johnson, for the 2019 token to upgrade to 95. All I got was 32000 tp's. I got my CJ vertical from the thanksgiving feast promotional. My ID: [Removed UID - CM]
It effected me as well, error report 45826002. Calvin Johnson spread base 93.

Same here, traded in 92 Rodgers and came up empty... have all needed currencies. [Removed - CM] UID. Alec Ogletree... submitted a case but no reply. I’m stuck with a 74 Qb, argh!!!
Hopefully they were just waiting for the corrupted sets to expire and now they can go in and just award the player! Fingers crossed!!!

The fix is easy. Give players the card they earned or at least refund the card they lost of the right scheme, of course
