Valid feedback and we'll do our best to make announcements like this ahead of time in the future. I'm personally curious though, what was there to gain if told about this ahead of time? From my understanding, these plays were essentially broken when flipped when comparing their success rate to other plays. I play Mobile and Madden on console, nothing like having your "money plays" so I get that a lot of people are disappointed when a go to play is removed.

I'm curious why not a quick note to all? I mean instead of so many people wondering whether is was a bug or a glitch. Waiting to see if it "gets fixed" or was on purpose.
To answer your question...
I wouldn't have lost a match because the play was called left and everyone went right, sack, game over. Next, I wouldn't have tried it a few more times to see if it was me or buggy software, because my ipad crashes daily. It also coincided with your update that broke the stats in LVL, you know, the stats shift to the right- so chances were good it was a glitch and not done on purpose. Also, I wouldn't have had to flip every play in my playbook to find all the affected plays. I certainly wouldn't have had to come here, spending time searching to see what happened.
If there had been a heads up, I could've started looking for a different go-to or using a different playbook and not just felt like the carpet was pulled out from under me. Bottom line, some communication is ALWAYS better than none.
With regards to these 2 unfair plays...
1 QB Contain Spy and Cover1 Contain Spy have a decent chance of a pick-6. I know this because I play arena. I know this because I've see it in my favor and against me. So I know to use these plays in my defensive strategy. Sorry others don't but tired of getting burnt? Upgrade the guy, figure out a defense, anything but wait for EA programmers to the rescue. If I'm able to "counter" these plays, so can everyone else.
These two plays are UNUSABLE from the right hashmark. Even when run perfectly, many times your fallback-out-of-bounds animation takes over and the WR falls down IN BOUNDS just laying there waiting to be tackled. Is that an attempt at balance?
You are KILLING VERT. The 2pt run choices are a DRAW (really?) and pulling guard who usually does more harm than good. Our 2 pt. pass plays of ALL CURLS or a mess of crossings who usually run into each other? Compared to WestCoast that gets a "quick slant for 2pt conversion"? How's THAT even remotely fair? Because, you know, WR Drag was way too successful so you took that out (even though a good press routinely counter it along with scrape blitz). Maybe a lot of the high success rates were due to poor defensive strategy. But, instead you made a "broken play" even worse?
WestCoast also still has their spam. Are you going to destroy X Follow and Slot 2 Buc as well? I mean to make things fair the EA way?
